There are several stellar artists that have already performed, and are set to perform at tonight’s Grammy ceremony, but unfortunately, one of them will not be Rihanna. The “Work” singer reportedly canceled her performance earlier today due to a bout with bronchitis.
According to TMZ, Rih Rih, who was set to perform her Anti standout “Kiss It Better,” was present at rehearsals earlier, but after leaving she did not return, and did not walk tonight’s red carpet. The report reveals a statement made by one of Rihanna’s reps, which says that despite her antibiotic intake over the last three days, a doctor concluded that she’d be in danger of damaging her vocal cords if she sang tonight.
