Kendrick Lamar has a batch of music that didn’t make the final cut of To Pimp a Butterfly, and he’s taken his time unveiling it, from two performances on Stephen Colbert‘s late night shows on Comedy Central and CBS, and more recently, last night’s Grammy Awards, in which Kendrick dropped “Untitled 3,” during a powerful Grammy performance that featured shackles and jail cells. Kendrick also performed “Alright,” his persevere anthem with Pharrell Williams, which racked up a couple Grammy victories for King Kendrick itself. Though he was locked out of the Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Album of the Year categories, which went to Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift respectively, Kendrick certainly stole the show with the above performance.
