Even Stephen Curry is enjoying Kanye West and his controversial tweets, but also admits that it was ‘very weird’ to see himself being mentioned in a tweet with the goat Michael Jordan. Earlier this week, Kanye West took to Twitter to compare himself to both Michael Jordan and Stephen Curry which is a surprise to the warriors PG.
The tweet was retweeted over 50,000 times in which it came across Curry’s twitter timeline. Reporters got to speak with Curry after practice the warriors star was asked about how he felt after being mentioned in a Kanye tweet and he described it as ‘very weird.’ Check out the youtube video here to catch Curry’s full reaction.
“I’ve seen a lot of his crazy, kind of outlandish tweets, especially in the past month,” he said. “When I saw my name cross through his fingertips, that was pretty funny and honoring at the same time. But also very weird, putting me in the same conversation with Michael and Kanye.”
“Someone did a graphic of me in my jersey and Jordan, they dubbed him guarding me, and Kanye’s face was on both of us. That’s my favorite meme of all time — or so far to-date. I’m gonna have to get that blown up on my wall or something.”
