Social media has gone wild this past week with the surfacing of a viral video of a California teen and his fresh white Vans. This video features a daily update on what “Daniel” is wearing and commentary from his friend. This Snapchat story grew to such popularity that Ellen DeGeneres had no other choice but to interview the duo behind it on her show.
Along with a rise in online popularity and a feature on The Ellen Show, Daniel has received a lifetime supply of Vans (and not just white ones). This video created a spike in Vans sales that could not be ignored and the company expressed their gratitude with a gift that any high school freshman would be more than happy to accept. No word yet on whether or not Daniel will be awarded his own “Damn Daniel” signature sneaker but its still too early to rule it out.
