Last month, Calvin Klein rolled out its star power featuring #mycalvins Spring/Summer campaign which display the likes of recognizable faces such as Fetty Wap, Kendrick Lamar, Justin Bieber and Kendall. The latest addition to the advertisement of Calvin Klein is a sultry and sensual video of singer and talent FKA twigs contorting and performing a few of her signature poses.
Shot by lauded fashion photographer David Sims and directed by twigs herself, the ad sees the crooner and one of her dancer associates Kaner Flex performing acts of gymnastics in articles of clothing from Calvin Klein’s SS16 collection. The music is “Good to Love”, twig’s latest single and plays off the relationship portrayed in the video.
“I guess it’s kind of tongue in cheek, fun, sexy but still with the emotional ignition and openness that I always aim to achieve when I direct…I wanted to make something that could feel artistically futuristic, tense, crucial, loaded, emotionally complicated but ultimately still include the seductive, free and young feel of Calvin Klein.” – FKA Twigs
