Ellen DeGeneres premiered the trailer for Finding Dory this morning [Wednesday, March 2] on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The trailer begins with Dory, voiced by Ellen, at the sting ray migration with Nemo and his class. She had an epiphany about her family she’d forgotten and embarks on a journey to find them. Much like the search for Nemo, she comes across many obstacles, like being trapped inside of a fish tank.
This film is the second installment of Disney-Pixar’s 2003 Finding Nemo, which grossed $930 million worldwide and became Pixar’s first title to take home the Academy Award for Best Animated Film.
Albert Brooks will be returning as Nemo, alongside with Ty Burrell, Ed O’Neill and Kaitlin Olson. Finding Dory is slated to release on June 17.
