The diva extraordinaire has left Capitol Records and the Island Def Jam Music Group to join LA Reid and his camp over at Epic.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Jennifer back home with me to Epic Records. Jennifer is a true global icon with a magnetism that sears across music, film, and TV and I’m excited to be working together again,” Reid tells Billboard.

This new move and reunion with Reid may mean the return of classic Jenny from the Block material, as during her time at Capitol and Island Jenny released mainly dance-heavy records.

In an interview with MTV UK, J.Lo said she’s never stopped working on music, and promises some surprises throughout the year. “I’m always working on music, always, always, always. I’m working on a couple of other things, so we’ll see … it’ll be an exciting year!”

Though an album will most likely have to wait until after her Las Vegas residency, we can’t wait to see what Jenny has for us musically.
