It appears Top Dawg is a man of his word. Two days after announcing that he would drop a new TDE project this week to validate claims that he expects there to be releases from ScHoolboy Q, SZA, Isaiah Rashad, Ab-Soul, Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock this year, a Spotify stream has surfaced for a new K.Dot album, untitled unmastered.

While the play function is currently disabled until March 4 (perhaps as early as midnight), the project’s tracklisting does show a total of eight songs seemingly labeled by the dates on which they were recorded, indicating that many were conceived throughout 2014 and likely intended for Kendrick’s second album, To Pimp a Butterfly.

This of course comes on the heels of LeBron James applying pressure on Twitter after being moved by Kendrick’s powerful performance at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards – where the Compton MC won five of 11 nominations – asking for TDE’s CEO to finally release the unnamed records that Lamar has been teasing on television.

Top Dawg later responded, “Dam my n***a u on my head 2…The fans been killing me. Y’all just backed me in a corner..Give me a few days 2 think.” Looks like the wait is almost over now!
