After spending roughly 3 years as one of the most potent and reliable cast members of Pro Era‘s band of emcee brothers, Kirk Knight finally released his debut project, Late Knight Special, this past October. Following a tour with Chicago standout Mick Jenkins, the youthful Brooklyn native delivered a bone-rattling set of bangers, from hardcore, gritty street cuts to smoothed over, woozy dedications to love interests and everything in between.
Following a video for one of those aforementioned woozy cuts, the hesitantly romantic “One Knight/Scorpio,” Kirk flew to the other end of his sonic spectrum, and dropped the video for his face-melting, Joey Bada$$-featured cut, “5 Minutes,” a disarming visual experience directed by Slick Jackson.
