Yesterday [Thursday, March 3], it was ruled in court the autopsy result regarding Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, be made public. Brown, 22, was found unconscious in her bathtub in January 2015, and passed in July after being in a coma for the remainder of her life.

Today the report has started making its rounds online, and according to TMZ, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s testing revealed Brown died due to “immersion of face in water complicating mixed drug intoxication.” As reported, the drugs found in her system included marijuana, alcohol, a cocaine-related substance called benzoylecgonine, benzodiazepines (prescription anti-anxiety meds) and morphine —all-in-all a tragic “toxic cocktail.”

Her official cause of death was pneumonia and encephalopathy, which essentially means that her lungs were filled with water, while her brain was injured as a result of being submerged under water.

Four years before, in 2011, Whitney Houston’s cause of death was nearly identical, drowning in her bathtub with complications from drug use. May they both rest in peace.
