2 Chainz and Lil Wayne, collectively known as Collegrove, released their self-titled joint album yesterday on a busy release day around the industry. Previewed by cuts like “Rolls Royce Weather Everyday” and “Gotta Lotta,” Collegrove likely gave fans of both 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne a much needed project to hold them over, considering neither rapper has released a solo studio album since 2013.
Just hours after the album hit internet retailers, Chainz and Wayne also unleashed their new music video, for one of Collegrove‘s clear standouts, “Bounce.” The song, produced by Infamous, features both rappers–there are some scattered solo joints on the album–and invokes the classic Dirty South sonic palette both artists have become synonymous with, especially Lil Wayne, a native of New Orleans.
For those looking to cop Collegrove the traditional way, physical copies will be made available on March 25, per a press release. Enjoy the video above.
