Nate Diaz scored one of the biggest victories of his career last weekend when he choked out then undefeated UFC superstar Conor McGregor. The bout was one of the biggest upsets of the night, as Holly Holm suffered the same fate at the hands of the new Bantamweight Champion Miesha Tate. Though he suffered a crushing defeat, McGregor is still the champ in the eyes of some, namely pop star Justin Bieber who took to his Instagram account after the bout and posted a photo of the Irish fighter with the caption “still the champ.” He later posted a video of McGregor and wrote
No bandwagon but Conor is a true champion, fights with style and finesse, all the respect to Nate but his style is terrible. Nate has crazy heart respect.

Nate Diaz, who has never been afraid to speak his mind, retorted with his own Instagram post, showcasing a meme of himself slapping Bieber, with the image reading “shut your B—h a– up!”
