Apparently, Elton John’s fascination with Young Thug has gone a ways past dishing out pleasantries in interviews. According to a report from The Fader, Thugger is set to do an official remix to Elton John’s classic “Rocket Man,” which was originally released in 1972. A “well placed source” revealed to the publication that Thug and John recently Facetimed, after which the official instrumental to the song was sent over to Young Thug’s camp. Apparently, no rapping takes place. Thug sings his way through the re-work, and it’s an “ambient” and “amazing” experience.

Neither Thug nor Elton John have commented on the news, but their response could come in the form of a “Rocket Man” remix sooner than later.
