Tyler The Creator and A$AP Rocky were once pitted against each other–mainly by social media–in a forged East vs West riff, as they began to flourish as the front-men of the strongest young rap movements of the West (Odd Future) and East (A$AP Mob) coasts. However, all that was put to rest in 2015, when Rocky and Tyler co-headlined the self-titled Rocky and Tyler tour, with support from Danny Brown and Vince Staples. In addition to that, Tyler, The Creator recently remade Kanye West‘s “Freestyle 4” into the “What The F*ck Right Now” music video, and none other than A$AP Rocky belted his ad-libs and encouragement all throughout the track. (He also appeared as Rocky’s excitable studio mate in the video.)

Last month, during A$AP Rocky’s stint on Tyler’s Gold Media Golf Radio show, the A$AP head honcho and Tyler recorded an impromptu freestyle, but it was only made available on the Golf Media app, and largely flew under the radar. Today, however, the freestyle has crept onto the internet via Soundcloud, and you can hear it in all its lo-fi glory here.
