Usual creative collaborators Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen have paired up (again) to bring us Sausage Party, an animated movie that follows the story of a hot dog named Frank (Rogen) and his bun love interest Brenda (Kristen Wiig) “chosen” for a journey from the grocery store to the kitchen. The hot dog, bun and their friends are under the impression a paradise awaits them, but they’re in for a rude awakening.

The Night Before screenwriters/producers Ariel Shaffir and Kyle Hunter are attached to this project alongside helmsman Greg Tierman from Thomas and Friends and Shrek 2’s Conrad Vernon. The featured voices consists of Goldberg and Rogen’s regular crew: Jonah Hill, James Franco, Bill Hader, Paul Rudd, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson and Michael Cera. Edward Norton plays a bagel named Sammy Bagel Jr and Salma Hayek plays Teresa Taco.

An unfinished version of the film screened at SXSW yesterday [Monday, March 14] before the trailer below was released, and the responses on Twitter give us a feeling the Goldberg/Rogen collabo has another hit:
