Earlier this month, one of the most ubiquitous faces in sportscasting, Erin Andrews, won her lawsuit case against the owner of a Nashville Marriott, who were found accountable by a jury for the 2008 videotape of a nude Andrews that was distributed virally throughout the internet. Andrews originally sued for $75 million, and she was awarded $55 million last week.
Last night, on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, touted by Andrews herself as her “come out of hiding” party of sorts, the sportscaster took the time to thank those that supported her on the internet while she was engrossed in her legal battles, but not before Jimmy Kimmel himself asked her for $1 million. Andrews pointed out that she has yet to sign a new contract with Fox Sports, but Kimmel and everyone watching knew that’s not exactly what he was referring to.
