Filipino boxer and outspoken homophobe Manny Pacquiao has done it again. He has officially been banned from The Grove, a popular L.A. shopping center, after spewing a barrage of anti-gay statements.
After already taking a beating in 2015 during his insanely lucrative match against Floyd Mayweather, Pacquiao went on to be dropped from his huge deal with Nike in mid-February of this year, again for homophobic comments.
If the Nike termination didn’t hit hard enough, maybe being banned twice from a shopping center will. Nothing says “tough guy” like being banished from a place with a farmer’s market. Pacquiao was already banned once back in 2012 for the same reason, but was somehow let back in after being deemed “misquoted.”
It looks like Pacquiao and his posse recently turned up to catch a movie at The Grove, and Grove owner Rick Caruso decided he wouldn’t be returning.
