Migos rapper Offset was released from jail today after an accidental arrest. He was pulled over last night [March 17] for tinted windows and when police noticed an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended license, they arrested him.
Offset thought he had already paid the fine for the previous offense in December, when he was released from jail after doing eight months for drug and weapon charges.
Offset stayed in jail overnight and posted $1,900 bond today [March 18]. He went to court afterwards, claiming he had already paid the necessary $316 fine and should have never been arrested.
It turns out Offset was right. He did, in fact, pay the $316 and should be getting his $1900 back soon. He still, however, has to deal with the ticket for the tinted windows.
