It’s been over 20 years, but the untimely death of Nirvana’s frontman is still a long disputed tragedy. From elaborate conspiracy theories involving murder-for-hire, to other skewed accounts of what was actually determined suicide, time has not eased any mystery surrounding Kurt Cobain’s death.
Two years ago, on the 20th anniversary of the musician’s death, new graphic photos from the crime scene surfaced, raising more questions than answering them. Why were these pictures being released so long after the investigation had been closed?
In response to the multitude of skeptics, new photos of the weapon used have been brought to light today. However, questions are now arising surrounding the logistical aspects of the suicide. The shotgun, much larger than what most had imagined, has many wondering how a man, supposedly on a whole lot of heroin, was actually able to use it.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the new photo evidence is going to be clearing anything up anytime soon.
