Flatbush Zombies’ debut release 3001: A Laced Odyssey has claimed the number 10 spot in its first week on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The Brooklyn trio’s new project sold 28,000 copies in its first week (24,000 excluding streams), which is quite the feat for three guys essentially doing everything on their own.

The Brooklyn trio consists of Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice and Erick “The Architect” Elliott. The album was released on March 11 through the group’s own independent record label, The Glorious Dead Records. Erick produced the entire 12 track album, and David Nakayama, a comic book artist known for his work on Marvel Adventures and Deadpool, designed the album artwork.

“Bounce,”the first single off the album, was released February 5 and peaked at number 32 on the Billboard + Top Twitter tracks chart. The group’s second single “This Is It” was released March 10, just prior to their album drop.
