Draymond Green is the unruly anchor of the Golden State Warriors, providing soon-to-be 2-time MVP Stephen Curry and the Warriors supporting cast with sturdy per game averages of 14 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists, and gritty defense night in and night out. Unfortunately, he also seems to have the nifty talent of Snapchatting while driving at over 100 miles per hour.
In a Snapchat Draymond uploaded that has since been deleted—not before it was captured by TMZ, of course—the Warriors forward appears to be driving his BMW extremely fast, at speeds upwards of 118 MPH, and now he’s found himself in a bit of a riff with Warriors management. After yesterday’s win over the Clippers, Draymond admitted that uploading the video to Snapchat was “poor judgement” to the press, and the Warriors issued their own statement, alerting everyone that the incident would be discussed with Green. “We are aware of the video and will discuss it with Draymond after tonight’s game. We hold all of our players and staff members to a high standard that sends a positive message and example to our fans and the community in general. We look forward to having a conversation with Draymond and getting additional information.”
