Uncle Murda and Maino, two of Brooklyn’s most reliable rhyme-spitters, have released their joint mixtape, Yellow Tape: King Kong & Godzilla, to the masses just in time for the holiday weekend. The 17-track offering comes with guest features from Tweeze and Simms, and production from Raw Beatz, Teddy Da Don and more.

For several years, both Murda and Maino have had strong holds on the mixtape circuit, and have remained radio staples, most recently evidenced by Uncle Murda’s “Right Now,” which featured Future and made waves on mainstream airwaves for most of last year. (In fact, it’s this song that Metro Boomin‘s now infamous “If Young Metro don’t trust you, I’m gon’ shoot you,” drop comes from, which naturally transformed into all of pop culture yearning for Metro’s trust.) Needless to say, though they’re vets in the game their influence is absolutely still a factor, and this mixtape is proof. Stream and download it below.
