At the epicenter of Drake and Meek Mill‘s high profile beef last year, which resulted in multiple diss tracks and the most prominent tangible rap rivalry since Jay Z vs Nas, was Quentin Miller, the rapper and songwriter who allegedly drummed up several reference tracks and ghostwrote for Drake on songs like “10 Bands” and Meek’s own “R.I.C.O.” Though Miller came out and refuted the claims in an open letter, leaked tracks that appeared to include the very references Meek Mill and Funk Flex–who went after Drake in the wake of Meek’s accusations–were claiming were very much in existence. Since then, things have died down between the two rappers, outside of light jabs on recent releases (“Summer Sixteen,” “War Pain”), but this news could change that.

In a recent interview with VladTV, Miller confirmed renowned podcaster Taxstone‘s claims that there was an altercation between him, Meek Mill, and Meek’s camp at a Nike store in Los Angeles. “This was my first time really talking with Meek and basically he told me that he didn’t appreciate the letter that I dropped and it made it seem like he was a liar. And they f*cking stole off on me in the Nike store and ran. I shed blood in the Nike store.” Miller is fine now, and said in the interview that his injuries didn’t even require a hospital visit, but for those thinking all facets of this riff were over, think again.
