The now-infamous clash between Josh Norman and Odell Beckham Jr. in a December match-up between the Carolina Panthers and the New York Giants set the stage between the league’s two best at their respective position of corner back and wide receiver. The two went at it from a football standpoint and it eventually got physical. Beckham let his immaturity get the best of him, landing three personal foul penalties and a one game suspension after deliberately attacking Norman during a play. Apparently, the two haven’t kissed and made up yet.

First, Norman commented he didn’t think Beckham wasn’t a top five receiver, yet.

When Rhodes questioned Beckham’s absence, Norman responded, “This is my top five, alright? I don’t know if he would put me on his — I really don’t care — but this is my top five.

“So this is what I see. If he wants to get up there, do something to show me. Shoot, man, I played it, I saw it. I don’t know, I just didn’t think that. But he’s working there. I think he’s definitely a top 10. He’s working in the top-five bracket. Maybe if I play him again, he’ll show me different.”

Beckham catches wind of Norman’s comments and effectively fires back.

Then, Norman directly directs his comment at Beckham, so that he can respect it.

Interesting, to say the least. Too bad we have to wait a little while longer to see if the two battle with each other again. Hopefully this time, it’s a clean battle and not a bloodshed.
