Worldwide beauty pageantry is still thriving as much as ever with Latin America revealing some of it’s most beautifully striking females on a thriving television program titled NBL VIP: “Nuestra Belleza Latina” meaning “Our Latin Beauty”. Pitted in a seeded competition, a host of Latina vixens return to the Univision network based on their prior involvements in one of the ten seasons of the long running NBL program. Poised as an all star version of the competition show, NBL VIP calls back some of the fan and producer favorites for another go at being crowned contest winner and a potential award of a contract to appear on many of Univision’s programs and award shows, and a chance to win $200,000 in cash and prizes including a 2016 Kia Soul vehicle. Celebrity stylist and designer Michael Costello, lauded for his on point adornment and outfitting of global icons such as Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani, Beyoncé has been tasked with dressing the girls of NBL next episode which is set to feature a runway performance.

Costello will dress the 12 remaining finalists for a high couture influenced and styled runway show on Sunday night’s impending episode. Revered for his work with Latina figures specifically, as well as an overall embellishment of all cultural embodiments, Costello is excited about the prospect of dressing the NBL contestants in artistic, function sacrificing wears. “I can tell you that the girls are definitely going to be very sexy and very challenging for them to walk in these gowns,” Costello told the Latin Times at the fitting preceding the show. “Everything is really long and very dramatic,”.

A talent who’s favorite Latina’s to dress are Jennifer Lopez, Galilea Montijo, Alejandra Espinoza and Eva Longoria, Costello believes his work’s allure is not about the star power but about how the garment falls and lays on the wearer’s figure. “I think the secret, no matter what shape or size she is, is definitely what she feels comfortable in,”.
