Though Lyor Cohen is busy running 300 Records and orchestrating the inevitable volcanic rise of Young Thug‘s career, he’s actively involved in the career and behind-the-scenes dealings of Houston rapper Travi$ Scott, who has maintained a close relationship with both Cohen and Thug over the last couple years. Scott and Thug embarked on last year’s Rodeo tour together, and Thug appeared on Scott’s album of the same name, on possibly its best song, the Justin Bieber-featured “Maria, I’m Drunk.”
Now that Scott is back in the studio hard at work on his next album, which may or may not be called Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, Cohen has some news for La Flame fans (and Thugger fans) that should excite. Young Thug will be on Travi$ Scott’s new single, and it’ll be out in a few days. *sings McKnight*.
