Wheel of Fortune isn’t like Jeopardy or Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, or other games that rely on specific knowledge of certain topics and subject matter. Wheel of Fortune is more of a puzzle-solving game, that requires quick reactions to developments and a little luck. Oh, and a decent vocabulary, of course.

This contestant, Robert, seemed to have more than a decent vocabulary, more than a little luck, and what seemed like an Ivy League education in puzzle-solving ability. With nothing but extremely vague hints and letters/symbols on the board, Robert went on a solving spree, somewhat pissing off his fellow contestants, especially Noelle, who was directly to his right as he ran off on the plug.

Robert was especially ridiculous solving one of the puzzles, a 14-character “place,” that turned out to be “Port & Starboard.” When it was Robert’s turn to buy a vowel or deliver a consonant, the only two characters that on the board were an ampersand, and the letter D. Major league stuff.
