Early last week, Toronto rapper Mo-G accused Drake and his manager, Oliver El-Khatib, of unfairly compensating him for helping to pen what he called “Billboard hits” for Drizzy. Mo-G made the accusations in a since deleted series of Instagram videos, and had some pretty scathing things to say about El-Khatib, who he called a “culture vulture.”
Earlier today, in an Instagram post that has already been deleted, Mo-G posted a picture of his bloodied face, with the caption, “When you speak from the heart this is what happens…#Dirtysociety #Dirtyindustry,” more than likely making a reference to his qualms with Drake and OVO.
Drake has been pictured with Mo-G before, and shouted him out on his recent single, “Summer Sixteen,” but Mo-G’s role in helping write lyrics or songs for Drake has yet to be made public or apparent. Hopefully the Toronto rapper makes a speedy recovery, and authorities launch an investigation into the matter.
Of course, this isn’t the only violent incident involving an alleged Drake songwriter in recent history. The man at the center of Drizzy’s highly publicized feud with Meek Mill, alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller, says he was jumped by Meek and his crew at a Nike store in Los Angeles.
