Last Sunday [April 3] West Coast rappers YG and Nipsey Hussle were filming a video in South Los Angeles for their controversial track ‘F*** Donald Trump’ when the LAPD arrived in riot gear to calm the apparent commotion.

Sources told TMZ the officers were called in response to cars cruising the streets and the crowd who had gathered to watch. The reporting officers were completely unaware the chanting crowd were simply extras in a music video and swarmed in to disperse them. Witnesses reported that the shoot featured around 100 people.

The police stopped the shoot, as they felt that the crowd was escalating out of control and didn’t approve of the dangerous car stunts. The video will contain footage of a Corvette doing donuts and taking out a bystander, according to TMZ. The stunt man walked away unharmed.

Thankfully YG and Nipsey managed to salvage enough footage for the music video to still be released unaffected by the LAPD intrusion. Check out some clips taken from the set below:
