It is safe to say that Dr. Dre and Suge Knight have not had the best relationship since parting ways as business partners in the mid-1990s. Now, there is a new angle in their storied feud as Knight’s attorney, Thaddeus Culpepper claims that Dr. Dre put a hit out on him. Knight, who is currently in jail on murder charges, says that he is being treated unfairly in jail and his lawyers have asked the courts to unseal orders dating back to March of 2015 to support their claims.

In the documents, Dr. Dre is accused of ordering a hit on Knight in connection to a August 2014 nightclub incident where Suge was shot. Culpepper says that a man known as Tee-Money confessed to being one of the men behind the trigger and that he and an associate were paid $50,000 to kill the former Death Row Records C.E.O. The documents go on to allege that an off-duty sheriff’s deputy was seen on surveillance video letting the two men into the club and later seen at the airport helping them flee the country. Dr. Dre’s attorney have told TMZ that the accusation is “ridiculous.
