Yesterday was a big day for DJ Khaled, as he announced his new partnership with L.A. Reid and Epic Records, and a new album–his 9th–called Major Key likely set to drop this summer. In addition to Khaled’s announcements, producer Southside let loose in an interview that he had knowledge of a Jay Z and Future collaboration that Khaled might be responsible for. All in all, it was a career morning for the Miami DJ, and he took to Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning show to talk about it.

In the full interview above, Khaled discusses his road to his recent glory, which includes covers of Bloomberg BusinessWeek and an astronomical amount of views-per-Snapchat-story, which Khaled says eclipses the amount of nightly views of our favorite TV shows, whatever they are. (My personal favorite is The Walking Dead, the finale for which was viewed 14 million times. Damn, Khaled.) He also confirms the Jay Z/Future record, and dishes a little bit on just how big his headlining performance at this year’s Summer Jam concert will be.
