CNBC debuted its new show, Follow The Leader, this past Wednesday, and the show’s first star subjects were 300 Entertainment founder Lyor Cohen and his franchise player, Young Thug, who just enjoyed the best first-week results of his career with the release of Slime Season 3. Follow the Leader, which aims to profile and get behind-the-scenes insight at some of the biggest leaders in different industries, followed Cohen and Young Thug around in the days leading up to SS3, and caught a great clip of Cohen trying to help Young Thug become more prolific at his songwriting, as opposed to his preferred method of just freestyling and randomly dropping music.

Thug declares during the meeting that he wants to have 10 #1 hits in the next year, and Cohen, who knows a little something about #1 hits, urges Thug to engage with his fans more, and be more meticulous with the construction of his music in order to achieve that goal. Watch the clip above.
