As Kobe Bryant capped off his 20-year NBA career Wednesday night with a 60 point performance, the sports world and fans alike continue to pay homage to the iconic athlete. One person who definitely wasn’t impressed is Fox Sports’ Jason Whitlock. The pundit ripped into Bryant, not only calling him the most fraudulent celebrity athlete but out also out-right accused him of destroying the Lakers franchise.
“His narcissism and selfishness destroyed a franchise. The Lakers are a laughing stock, and just had the most embarrassing season we’ve pretty much ever seen an NBA team have.”
He goes on to blast the theatrics surrounding Bryant’s final game.
“And Jack Nicholson and everybody’s sitting at courtside celebrating this, standing ovation. That game last night was hot garbage.”
