The untimely death of Chinx caught the rap world by surprise. Chinx was shot and killed in Queens late last year. The person behind the crime is still unidentified, but police are uncovering new clues.
According to a report issued by FOX 5 NY, the alleged killer was on foot when Chinx was shot. It was reported that the shooting was a drive-by, but now police believe otherwise. Police did not suspect any foul play that could have resulted in the artist death, many are led to believe that the incident stemmed from jealousy.
In an interview French Montana revealed that he pressured Chinx to stay with him in L.A. instead of heading east. “A week before that happened to him, I was with him in L.A. and I was telling him to come with me to Las Vegas. Then, I’m arguing with him to come with me to Vegas, to stay with me in L.A. and this and that, and he just woke up one day and he was like, ‘I’m going back to Far Rockaway.”
