Following an incredible game with the Golden State Warriors in a 104-78 blowout against the Houston Rockets, the record breaking team is preparing to play without the starter for Game 2 of their playoff series.
Steph Curry retreated to the locker room shortly before halftime after landing awkwardly on his ankle on Saturday [April 16]. The NBA MVP didn’t practice Sunday either since hurting his right ankle.
Coach Steve Kerr called Curry’s status “questionable,” according to Fox Sports.
“He’s doing a little better than yesterday,” Coach Kerr explained. “He’ll get some rest, get off his feet and we’ll do the same thing tomorrow at shoot around and see how’s he feeling.”
If Curry is unavailable to play Monday night, Shaun Livingston will start in his place.
