Alicia Keys has officially announced she’s finally dropping new music.
In her very first Snapchat post (follow her: AKStreetGoddess), Keys let fans know not only is she preparing new music, but also that she will perform her new music on Saturday Night Live.
“You’ve been asking and asking and it’s finally here,” Keys said. “I have new music to share with you and I am going to be performing in the next couple of weeks.”
Although fans have yet to get a sample of what Keys plans to bring, it’s without a doubt going to be no less than epic, but Keys isn’t the only one heading to the studio. Keys and Swizz Beatz‘s son Egypt has also been in the studio working with Hip Hop legend Q-Tip.
The five-year-old who, seemingly out of nowhere, received a production credit on Kendrick Lamar’s untitled unmastered, is seen working with the Abstract after his proud dad uploaded the video on Instagram showing Egypt casually playing a synth pad with Q-Tip encouraging his genius. “Rock out…ok…come on.”
The Alicia Keys featured episode of SNL, which is scheduled to be hosted by actress Brie Lawson, will premier on May 7th.
