Earlier this year, Drake dropped his “Summer Sixteen” track to much fan fare, with the Canadian MC supplying quotable after quotable. A few that perked the ears of sports fans was the line where he compared his comrade Chubbs to Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, as well as the boastful line about the Warriors running practice at his house. TSN’s Cabral Richards recently caught up with reigning league MVP Steph Curry and asked him his thoughts on the name-checks.
In regards to Green, he shares that his teammate was pumped about being mentioned in the song and as far as the practice line, it is somewhat truthful. Curry says that he and his brother-in-law played a game of hoops at Drake’s place while Drizzy and his family watched on. Watch the clip below.
