While fans worldwide are raving about Kanye West‘s latest album, The Life of Pablo, DJ Quik isn’t exactly too fond of it.
The Compton MC stopped by the #NoahTV show to promote his new EP Rosecrans, and when Ye’s ever-changing album became a topic of discussion, Quik didn’t hold his tongue: “Kanye so scared he don’t know what the f*ck to do with The Life of Pablo. Let’s just keep this sh*t all the way 100.”
After the show’s host Noah Ayala agreed that TLOP was not better than 808 & Heartbreaks or Yeezus, he offered TLOP does have good moments. Noah admitted the album received so much hype due to Kanye’s popularity, so Quik went in some more:
So his celebrity supercedes his talent right now. He’s a Kardashian now, what the f*ck? What is he going to do, beat me up? It’s Kanye. This is a challenge, not a diss. Make your best music, the fans are not stupid.
