April 20, otherwise known as “420,” is the annual celebration of the consumption of cannabis. While some rally together to advocate for its legalization, others gather to light one (or twenty) in honor of the “holiday.”
Marijuana has inspired several notable artists to create some of the best smoking songs. From Styles P and Lil’ Wayne to Cypress Hill and Badgalriri, below are 20 tracks to provide the soundtrack to the “weed day” cypher.
1. “Because I Got High” Afroman
Afroman got high and forgot about all of his other responsibilities. He also forgot to make another hit, however, lucky for him, this song continues to be a 420 favorite.
