West Coast underground Hip Hop pioneer Luckyiam has been hard at work pushing his latest project, Luck & Lana, with songwriting partner Lana Shea. The duo is back with visuals for “BWOMP,” one of 13 tracks from their debut album, GO, which was released in January of this year.

With beats by LA production team Kill the Computer, “BWOMP,” cleverly ties together a vibrant electronic element with classic Hip Hop sensibilities. Coupled with the occasional singing vocals from Shea, it’s the ideal marriage of femininity and lyrical bravado.

In the video, Luck & Lana are clearly trying to escape from two ominous looking villains who are chasing them all over southern California. The pair looks eerily similar to the bartenders who drugged the duo in the last visual for “Keys.”

The “BWOMP” video allows the storyline to remain open ended, leaving the viewer wondering what happens next. As the song fades out, it seamlessly blends into the follow-up song, “Type,” featuring Ras Kass and Chino XL, a conspicuous clue indicating the upcoming chapter in the story.

As the foursome heads out on a brief Southwest tour, they’re continuing to promote the material from GO, which features heavy hitters like Aesop Rock, Del the Funky Homosapien and of course, Ras Kass, and Chino XL.
