Over 5,000 fans showed up and sang and danced the night away. “It’s a great celebration. We’re all stunned by his sudden death. But, he’s still here in his spiritual form, and we love him,” Spike stated while live on CNN. He went on to speak about how great of an honor it was to be able to work with Prince in his lifetime on a film called Money Don’t Matter Tonight. Spike’s love for Prince was very evident in his speech and in such an effort to celebrate his life in a way that Prince would have enjoyed as well.

Rest in peace to the Purple Rain legend. May your music live forever in our hearts.
