Last night, just after Drake‘s Views album was made available for streaming on Apple Music, the Toronto rapper sat down for an interview with Beats1 Radio’s Zane Lowe, to talk about everything from his oft-scrutinized relationship with Kanye West, the theme of his fourth studio album, the atmosphere of his hometown of Toronto and, of course, Nicki Minaj.

Drake dropped several interesting gems, including the fact that he and Kanye West have discussed the possibility of doing an entire mixtape or album together–does this mean we’re not getting Watch The Throne 2?–and the fact that his immense success hasn’t changed the fact that there’s “war” going on in the 6, but most interestingly, Drizzy briefly touched on his relationship, or lack thereof, with former frequent collaborator Nicki Minaj.

Drake and Nicki are of course both signed to Lil Wayne‘s Young Money record label, but were rumored have an on-again, off-again romance until Nicki formally entered a romantic relationship with Meek Mill, who of course is now the biggest foe Drake has in the rap game. When Lowe touched on the subject, Drake succinctly addressed what the vibe is like between them, admitting that “they don’t really talk,” and that Minaj ‘dealt with him with class.’

I don’t really talk to Nicki. I understand what love is, and I understand her situation. She dealt with me how I expected her to, with class.
