DeMar DeRozan hasn’t had it easy in his 7 years as a pro. He was handed the reigns of the Toronto Raptors after Chris Bosh left for Miami in the summer of 2010, and since then, he’s toiled away in the trenches, trying desperately to save his team and city from its playoff victory drought.
On Sunday, DeRozan did just that, scoring 30 in a Raptors Game 7 victory, giving Toronto its first playoff series victory in 15 years. However, after the game, a relieved DeRozan sat with his teammates at the post-game podium, where he was clearly the second most interesting DeRozan present. Enter his lovely daughter, Diar, who interrupted the entire affair just to declare “I love my daddy” into the microphone, causing a flustered look to swim onto her dad’s face.
How will Riley Curry respond to her post-game presser throne being threatened? Surely we’ll find out as soon as her dad gets off the mend.
