Purpose may have dropped all the way back in November, but The Biebs is not letting up with the album accolades. Just as [Justin] Bieber Fever seemed to be simmering down, he’s back at it again topping a new chart.
Bieber has officially earned his first number one on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart with “Love Yourself.” The song has already brought him to number one on the Adult Pop Songs chart, and ended up being the third number one off Purpose to reach the top of the Pop Songs chart. “What Do You Mean?” and “Sorry” went to number one on Pop Songs as well.
Steve Bartels, Def Jam CEO, says, “Justin has transcended all formats with the music from Purpose. ‘Love Yourself’ is a wonderful song that has all ages weighing in.”
“Love Yourself” was co-written by Ed Sheeran and Benny Blanco.
