Deuces lemonade, hello watermelon!
Startup beverage company WTRMLN WTR announced today [Tuesday, May 3] Beyonce has joined in as an investor. The beverage, which claims to have no added sugar or artificial ingredients, consisting only of watermelon and “a drop of organic lemon juice,” comes from a company on a mission to educate consumers about nutritional facts, promoting the importance of living a fit life.
In a statement, the “Formation” singer described her involvement as “an investment in female leaders, fitness, American farmers and the health of people and our planet.”
Bey, who recently released casual athletic clothing line, Ivy Park and touring on her nationwide Formation tour, reasoned why she invested in WTRMLN WTR:
“I invested in WTRMLN WTR because it’s the future of clean, natural hydration; as partners, we share a simple mission to deliver accessible wellness to the world.”
