A couple of weeks ago Snoop Dogg’s son, Cordell Broadus, introduced us to his new youth group initiative, Revolt of the Youth. This unique group is brought to you for the youth, by the youth. On this past Saturday [May 7], Revolt of the Youth contributed to the underprivileged Greater Los Angeles community and gave back to the homeless.

Of course, Snoop Dogg was there to support his son and had his adorable grandson tagging along throughout the day. Broadus also brought together some very prominent Milliennials who definitely have a major impact on the youth. Among the youth group participants was BET’s The Westbrooks stars, India Love, Bree and Morgan Westbrook. Young Money member Lil Twist and actor Paige Hurd from Hawaii Five-0 and Everybody Hates Chris were also in attendance.

In addition to giving free pizza and essential supplies out to the homeless, Revolt of the Youth partnered with the non-profit group, ‘Have A Sole’ to give away over 100 pairs of shoes. The compassion behind such an impactful event brought some of the homeless recipients to tears, as their stories varied from one man just being released from prison for not having the proper paperwork to women and children just being completely grateful to be provided with something new.

Cordell took to Instagram to show his gratitude for his Revolt of the Youth team and their good hearts. He stated, “This is a dream I’ve had since I was 15 years old. This means the world to me. I have a passion for helping others and today was just the beginning.”

The Revolt of the Youth website and online store is coming soon. We can’t wait to see what’s next from such an amazing group of individuals.
