In 2010, Triple H was no longer a full-time performer in the WWE, digging deeper into the corporate side of things, while still making sporadic in-ring appearances. In the years since, his role behind the scenes grew even larger, becoming the executive vice president of talent, live events and creative. Just as recently as February of 2016, Hunter was voted onto the company’s board of directors. This could of probably indicated that the 46-year-old’s time being an active performer would be nearing it’s end but that is not the case.

According to James Caldwell of Pro Wrestling Torch, Triple H has inked a new 3-year deal with the WWE, effectively making him an active wrestler on the roster for the span of the contract. Though the amount has not yet been made public, it is noted that Hunter earned more than $2.8 million in 2015, most of which, ($1.7 million) coming from his role on-camera.
