Against a tripped out, psychedelic background, Inglish spits effortlessly about needing “his money today” while Matthews laments his mother’s financial struggles. The infectiously brooding track warrants repeated listens as Ev Zepplin continues to establish its unique sound.

The duo’s self-titled album includes appearances from Asher Roth, Boldy James, Alex Wiley, Buddy, Caleb James, A$ton Mathews, and Nathan Santos

Ev Zepplin arrives on the heels of Blended Babies’ collaborative project with Anderson .Paak, The Anderson .Paak EP.  They’ve also produced tracks for Chance The Rapper, Ab-Soul, Freddie Gibbs, The Black Keys, Kid Cudi, King Chip, and Kids These Days.

“Chemdream is inspired by ’70s rock videos,” Inglish tells The Source. “It’s an extension of what we started doing on RetroHash with Asher. Ev Zepplin was being recorded around the same time and drew from some of the same influences. We wanted to represent that visually.”

While Inglish is an accomplished producer, he serves as the primary emcee for Ev Zepplin with Blended Babies handling all of the production.
