For all the “Lousianimals,” Solange and Master P are collaborating on new music. The artists have a few things in common as they both have New Orleans blood running through their veins and are gearing up for upcoming album releases.
Master P took to his Instagram to post a few videos and pictures of him and Solange in the studio at work. In one video, Master P expresses how they both spoke each other into existence in regards to their most recent collaboration. P’s also trying to speak into existence that Solange will play his ex-girlfriend in his upcoming video/short film, Broken. In another video we catch Master P and Solange getting ratchet to the old “Hoody Hoo” anthem in true Louisiana fashion.
Master P has revealed the name of his upcoming album, The Grind Don’t Stop. Although we don’t have a name for Solange’s new album we’re super excited as we haven’t gotten a Solo album since 2008.
Be on the lookout for Master P in your city as he travels the country for his “Master P Pop Up Tour” which features him making appearances at nightclubs and various other venues to become more personal with his fans again. Watch Solange and Master P’s Instagram videos below.
