Singer Meghan Trainor had an embarrassing incident on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Thursday, May 12, when at the end of her performance, she tripped over her towering high heels and landed on the ground.

It happened while performing her new single,“Me Too,” which she is promoting in support of her forthcoming album, Thank You. The 22-year-old managed to hold on to the the microphone stand as she went down.

The gracious Fallon attempted to ease Trainor’s embarrassment by joining her on the floor—turning the fall into a light-hearted joke. He also reassured the singer: “Of every single dance move, grabbing the mic is the toughest,” Fallon said. “Standing ovation for Meghan Trainor, everybody!”

Of course, many are wondering if this was a (no-so) slick publicity stunt to help push her album sales, but sadly, the world may never know.
